589.02 Headquarters and meetings of council.

The official headquarters of the council shall be in Tallahassee, but it may hold meetings at such other places in the state as it may determine by resolutions or as may be selected by a majority of the members of the council in any call for a meeting. The annual meeting of the council shall be held on the first Monday in October of each year. Special meetings may be called at any time by the chair or upon the written request of a majority of the members. The council shall annually elect from its members a chair, a vice chair, and a secretary. The election shall be held at the annual meeting of the council. A majority of the members of the council shall constitute a quorum for such purposes.
