634.419 License and appointment required.

No person or entity shall solicit, negotiate, advertise, or effectuate service warranty contracts in this state unless such person or entity is licensed and appointed as a sales representative. Sales representatives shall be responsible for the actions of persons under their supervision. However, a service warranty association licensed as such under this part shall not be required to be licensed and appointed as a sales representative to solicit, negotiate, advertise, or effectuate its products.
