651.051 Maintenance of assets and records in state.

651.051 Maintenance of assets and records in state.

No records or assets may be removed from this state by a provider unless the office consents to such removal in writing before such removal. Such consent shall be based upon the provider’s submitting satisfactory evidence that the removal will facilitate and make more economical the operations of the provider and will not diminish the service or protection thereafter to be given the provider’s residents in this state. Prior to such removal, the provider shall give notice to the president or chair of the facility’s residents’ council. If such removal is part of a cash management system which has been approved by the office, disclosure of the system shall meet the notification requirements.
