15-12-66. Tales jurors; drawing and summoning
When from challenge or from any other cause there are not a sufficient number of persons in attendance to complete the panel of jurors, the judge shall draw tales jurors from the jury boxes of the county and shall order the sheriff to summon the jurors so drawn. When the sheriff or his deputy is disqualified to summon tales jurors, they may be summoned by the coroner or such other person as the judge may appoint.
