20-2-12. Educational television programs
The State Board of Education is authorized to make available educational programs through the medium of educational television. The state board is authorized to own, operate, maintain, and manage television stations, transmission equipment, and all other related equipment and facilities, both audio and video, for the production and transmission of open and closed circuit telecasting; to furnish schedules, consultative services, and teacher aids and to perform all other things necessary in promulgating, furnishing, producing, transmitting, and making such programs available; and to enter into agreements with other agencies, persons, firms, or corporations for the production or transmission, or both, of educational television programs.
