   20-3-22.    Terms of office 
      The  first board of regents appointed under this part shall hold office as  follows: two for one year; two for two years; two for three years; two  for four years; two for five years; two for six years; and three for  seven years. All of the terms shall date from January 1, 1943. The  Governor in making the appointments shall designate the holders of the  respective terms. Successors to the persons so appointed shall hold  terms of office of seven years from the expiration of the previous term.
