24-10-74. Custody of medical records; inspection; return


When medical records are removed from any institution to the custody of a court pursuant to a subpoena or order, the records so removed shall be kept in the custody of the clerk of the court or the clerk or secretary of an administrative agency and shall be open to inspection according to the terms of the subpoena or order or modification thereof. Upon completion of the necessity for their use, the records shall be promptly returned by the party compelling production to the institution from which they came.
