   33-16-11.    Holding of annual and special meetings of members; notice of meetings 
      An  annual meeting of such company shall be held at such a time as is fixed  in the bylaws of the company. Special meetings may be held for such  purposes and in such manner as may be specified in the insurer's bylaws,  consistent with this chapter. All such meetings shall be held in the  insurer's county of domicile. Notice of such meeting shall be mailed or  otherwise given to each member not less than 20 days in advance of the  meeting, and notice of any special meeting called by the board of  directors shall be given in writing not less than ten days in advance  stating the purpose of the meeting so called.
