34-13-8. Inspections

All carnival rides and attractions shall be inspected annually and may be inspected more frequently by the Office of Safety Engineering of the department at the owner's or operator's expense. If the carnival ride meets all relevant provisions of this chapter and the standards and regulations adopted pursuant to this chapter, the licensed inspector shall provide to the owner or operator a certificate of inspection. All new carnival rides shall be inspected before commencing public operation.
