   40-2-24.    Bonds of tag agents 
      Each  tag agent shall give bond conditioned as the commissioner may require,  and in such amount as the commissioner may deem necessary and proper,  not exceeding $250,000.00, to protect the state adequately. Such bond  shall be executed by a surety corporation licensed to do business in the  State of Georgia, as surety, and the premiums shall be paid by the  department.
