   43-45-4.    Terms of office; eligibility of member to succeed himself 
      The  appointive members of the commission shall be appointed originally for a  term of one, two, and three years; thereafter successors shall be  appointed for a term of three years. All such members shall serve for  the specified term and until their successors are appointed and  qualified.
