   43-7-24.    Unlicensed activities as constituting public nuisance; injunctions 
      The  practice or teaching of barbering and the operation of barber schools  and barbershops are declared to be activities affecting the public  interest and involving the health, safety, and welfare of the public.  Such activities when engaged in by a person who is not licensed are  declared to be a public nuisance, harmful to the public health, safety,  and welfare. The board or the appropriate prosecuting attorney may bring  an action, in the superior court of the county where such unlicensed  person resides, to restrain and enjoin such unlicensed practice.
