53-5-1. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Entitlement of widow and widower to year's support
(a) Any person who becomes a widow shall be entitled to year's support as provided in this chapter.
(b) A person who becomes a widower after April 18, 1979, is entitled to year's support as provided in this chapter.
