53-6-54. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Liability of suspended and successor fiduciaries


(a) During the suspension of his powers and duties, the trustee, administrator, executor, or guardian whose powers and duties shall have been suspended by order of the superior or probate court shall have no responsibility for the acts and doings of his cotrustee, coadministrator, coexecutor, or coguardian or his successor fiduciary, but he shall not be relieved of responsibility for his own acts and doings in the administration of the trust fund or estate.

(b) The successor appointed under this part shall have no responsibility for the acts and doings of his predecessor in office.
