53-6-102. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Operation of article where heirs, distributees, or legatees do not desire administration

Nothing in this article shall be construed to authorize and require the judge of the probate court to vest administration in the county administrator or any other person when the heirs, distributees, or legatees prefer to settle the estate without administration.
