53-7-140. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Petition by administrator or executor for discharge; issuance and publication of citation

An administrator or executor who has fully discharged all his duties may petition the judge of the probate court to pass an order discharging him from his trust. Upon the petition a citation shall issue, requiring all persons concerned to show cause against the granting of the discharge. The citation shall be published one time in the newspaper in which the county advertisements are published.
