53-7-182. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Return of nonresident or deceased administrator or executor

(a) The return of a nonresident administrator or executor may be admitted to record upon the affidavit of his surety.

(b) If an administrator or executor is dead, the representative of the estate of the deceased administrator or executor or, if at any time there is no such representative, any security on the bond of the deceased administrator or executor may make returns of the accounts of the deceased administrator or executor in the same manner and with the same effect as if he were living.
