53-8-1. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Investments by executors and trustees -- Generally

All executors and trustees, unless otherwise provided by the instrument establishing the fiduciary relationship or unless by the instrument another mode of investment is prescribed, may, in addition to other methods of investment authorized by law, invest all funds held in trust or for investment as provided in Code Section 53-8-2.
