§127-9 - Utilization of existing services and facilities.

     §127-9  Utilization of existing services and facilities.  In carrying out this chapter, the director of disaster relief and deputy directors, and the councils of the political subdivisions shall utilize all available services of nongovernmental agencies, relief organizations, community associations and other civil groups, and the services, equipment, supplies and facilities of existing governmental departments, offices, and agencies of the State and of the political subdivisions to the maximum extent practicable, and the officers and personnel of all the departments, offices, and agencies shall cooperate with and extend such services and facilities as may properly be requested to the disaster relief organization of the State and the political subdivisions.
