IDAHO HEALTH CARRIER EXTERNAL REVIEW ACT

41-5915. funding of external review. [effective january 1, 2010 for all covered plans renewed on or after this date] The health carrier against which a request for a standard external review or an expedited external review is filed shall pay the reasonable cost of the independent review organization for conducting the external review. The director may provide by rule for an administrative fee to offset the department’s costs associated with external review to be paid by the covered person at the time he makes a request for external review.
