MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
50-469. Failure to qualify creates vacancy. [effective until january 1, 2011. See section 50-414 for version effective january 1, 2011.] If a person elected fails to qualify, a vacancy shall be declared to exist, which vacancy shall be filled by the mayor and the council.
