(30 ILCS 750/2‑2) (from Ch. 127, par. 2702‑2)     Sec. 2‑2. The rights of way and easements acquired shall not exceed the amount of land or interests in land necessary to reasonably accommodate the construction, maintenance and operation of a Superconducting Super Collider. (Source: P.A. 84‑109.)

(30 ILCS 750/2‑3) (from Ch. 127, par. 2702‑3)     Sec. 2‑3. The Department of Natural Resources is authorized to lease, sell, give, donate, convey or otherwise transfer the property acquired under this Act to the United States Department of Energy for the purpose of the construction, maintenance and operation of a Superconducting Super Collider.     No conveyance of real property or instrument transferring property by the Department of Natural Resources to the United States Department of Energy, shall be executed without the prior written approval of the Governor.
