IC 12-17.6-7-1
Children's health insurance program fund established
Sec. 1. The children's health insurance program fund is
established for the purpose of paying expenses relating to:
(1) the program;
(2) services offered through the program for children enrolled
in the program; and
(3) services and administration eligible for reimbursement
under Title XXI of the federal Social Security Act for children
enrolled in Medicaid under IC 12-15-2-14.

Administration of fund
Sec. 2. The office shall administer the fund.

Contents of fund
Sec. 3. The fund consists of the following:
(1) Amounts appropriated by the general assembly.
(2) Amounts appropriated by the federal government.
(3) Fees, charges, gifts, grants, donations, money received from
any other source, and other income funds as may become
available.

Investments
Sec. 4. The treasurer of state shall invest the money in the fund
not currently needed to meet the obligations of the fund in the same
manner as other public funds may be invested.

Reversion of money
Sec. 5. Money in the fund at the end of a state fiscal year does not
revert to the state general fund.
