29.2 MILITARY DIVISION. There shall be within the department of public defense, as a division thereof, a state military agency which shall be styled and known as the "military division, department of public defense", with the adjutant general as the administrator thereof. The term military division shall include the office of the adjutant general and all functions, responsibilities, powers and duties of the adjutant general of the state of Iowa and the military forces of the state of Iowa as provided in the laws of the state.          Section History: Early Form [C66, 71, 73, 75, 77, 79, 81, § 29.2]
