29A.29 PAYMENT FROM TREASURY -- EXCEPTION. When in state active duty, the compensation of officers and enlisted persons and expenses of the national guard and claims for death, injury, and illness of the members thereof, incurred in line of duty, shall be paid out of any funds in the state treasury not otherwise appropriated.
