29B.25 SUMMARY COURTS-MARTIAL -- WHO MAY CONVENE. In the state military forces, the commanding officer of a garrison, fort, post, camp, air base, auxiliary air base, or other place where members of the state military forces are on duty, or of a division, brigade, regiment, wing, group, detached battalion, detached squadron, detached company, or other detachment, may convene a summary court-martial consisting of one commissioned officer. The proceedings shall be informal. When only one commissioned officer is present with a command or detachment the officer shall be the summary court officer of that command or detachment and shall hear and determine all summary court-martial cases.          Section History: Early Form [C54, 58, 62, § 29.73; C66, 71, 73, 75, 77, 79, 81, § 29B.25; 82 Acts, ch 1042, § 12]
