8.40 - PENALTY -- REMOVAL -- IMPEACHMENT.

8.40 PENALTY -- REMOVAL -- IMPEACHMENT. A refusal to perform any of the requirements of this chapter, or a refusal to perform a rule or requirement or request of the governor or the director of the department of management made pursuant to this chapter, by a board member, commissioner, director, manager, building committee, other officer or person connected with any institution, or other state department or establishment, subjects the offender to a penalty of two hundred fifty dollars, to be recovered in an action instituted in the district court of Polk county by the attorney general for the use of the state.
