15.105 DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT -- DIRECTOR. The Iowa department of economic development is created. The department shall be administered by a director who shall be appointed by the governor subject to confirmation by the senate and shall serve at the pleasure of the governor.
