15E.117 PROMOTION OF IOWA WINE AND BEER. The department of economic development shall consult with the Iowa wine and beer promotion board on the best means to promote wine and beer made in Iowa. The department has the authority to contract with private persons for the promotion of beer and wine made in Iowa. At the direction of the department, the director of the department of administrative services shall issue warrants to the department of economic development on the barrel tax fund created in section 123.143 and the wine gallonage tax fund created in section 123.183, which moneys may be used by the department for the purpose of this section, including administrative expenses incurred under this section.          Section History: Recent Form 86 Acts, ch 1246, § 720 C87, § 28.117 C93, § 15E.117 2002 Acts, ch 1050, §6; 2003 Acts, ch 145, §286 Referred to in § 123.183
