24.14 TAX LIMITED.
A greater tax than that so entered upon the record shall not be
levied or collected for the municipality proposing the tax for the
purposes indicated and a greater expenditure of public money shall
not be made for any specific purpose than the amount estimated and
appropriated for that purpose, except as provided in sections 24.6
and 24.15. All budgets set up in accordance with the statutes shall
take such funds, and allocations made by sections 123.53 and 452A.79,
into account, and all such funds, regardless of their source, shall
be considered in preparing the budget. Section History: Early Form
