455A.13 STATE NURSERIES. Notwithstanding section 17A.2, subsection 11, paragraph "g", the department of natural resources shall adopt administrative rules establishing a range of prices of plant material grown at the state forest nurseries to cover all expenses related to the growing of the plants. 1. The department shall develop programs to encourage the wise management and preservation of existing woodlands and shall continue its efforts to encourage forestation and reforestation on private and public lands in the state. 2. The department shall encourage a cooperative relationship between the state forest nurseries and private nurseries in the state in order to achieve these goals.          Section History: Recent Form 97 Acts, ch 213, §27
