461A.18 JURISDICTION. Jurisdiction over all meandered streams and lakes of this state and of state lands bordering thereon, not now used by some other state body for state purposes, is conferred upon the commission. The exercise of this jurisdiction is subject to the approval of the department in matters relating to or in any manner affecting flood control.
