461A.31 - SALE OF ISLANDS. - Iowa Statutes

461A.31 SALE OF ISLANDS. No islands in any of the meandered streams and lakes of this state or in any of the waters bordering upon this state shall hereafter be sold, except with the majority vote of the executive council upon the majority recommendation of the commission, and in the event any of such islands are sold as herein provided the proceeds thereof shall become a part of the funds to be expended under the terms and provisions of this chapter.          Section History: Early Form [C24, 27, 31, 35, 39, § 1823; C46, 50, 54, 58, 62, 66, 71, 73, 75, 77, 79, 81, § 111.31]          Section History: Recent Form C93, § 461A.31
