461A.31A SALE OF TIMBER. If the estimated quantity of timber grown in a state park or a preserve to be sold by the department in a sixty-day period is ten thousand board feet or more or if the estimated value of the timber grown in a state park or a preserve to be sold by the department during the same period of time is five thousand dollars or more, the department shall conduct a public hearing on the proposed sale. Notice of the hearing shall be published as provided in section 331.305.
