462A.46 PURCHASE OF REGISTERED VESSEL BY DEALER. Whenever a dealer purchases or otherwise acquires a vessel registered in this state, the dealer shall issue a signed receipt to the previous owner, indicating the date of purchase or acquisition, the name and address of such previous owner, and the registration number of the vessel purchased or acquired. The original receipt shall be delivered to the previous owner and one copy shall be mailed or delivered by the dealer to the county recorder of the county in which the vessel is registered, and one copy shall be delivered to the commission within forty-eight hours.          Section History: Early Form [C71, 73, 75, 77, 79, 81, § 106.46]          Section History: Recent Form C93, § 462A.46
