486A.1214 SERVICE ON PARTNERSHIP. 1. A partnership's registered agent is the partnership's agent for service of any process, notice, or demand required or permitted by law to be served on the partnership. 2. If a partnership has no registered agent, or the registered agent cannot with reasonable diligence be served, the partnership may be served by registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, addressed to the partnership at its chief executive office. Service is perfected under this subsection at the earliest of the following: a. The date the partnership receives the process, notice, or demand. b. The date shown on the return receipt, if signed on behalf of the partnership. c. Five days after mailing. 3.
