535D.22 COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL LAW. If the United States department of housing and urban development determines in writing that any provision of this chapter or its application to any person or circumstance is invalid under Tit. V of the federal Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008, Pub. L. No. 110-289, the superintendent is authorized to adopt rules which waive or modify, in whole or in part, requirements of this chapter as necessary to achieve a determination by the United States department of housing and urban development that this state is in compliance with the federal law.          Section History: Recent Form 2009 Acts, ch 61, §23, 25
