602.1212 JUDGES FOR PUBLIC UTILITY RATE CASES. 1. The supreme court shall designate at least one district judge in each judicial district in the state who shall be subject to assignment by the chief justice to preside as necessary in this state in judicial review proceedings referred to in section 476.13, subsection 1. Designations shall be made on the basis of qualifications and experience, and shall be for the purpose of developing a pool of district judges who will have the knowledge and experience needed to expedite judicial review proceedings in those cases. 2. Upon receipt of notice from a district court clerk under section 476.13, subsection 2, the chief justice of the supreme court shall assign one of the district judges selected under subsection 1 to preside at the judicial review proceeding under section 476.13.          Section History: Recent Form 83 Acts, ch 127, § 43 Referred to in § 476.13
