633.648 APPOINTMENT OF ATTORNEY IN COMPROMISE OF PERSONAL INJURY SETTLEMENTS. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 633.647 prior to authorizing a compromise of a claim for damages on account of personal injuries to the ward, the court may order an independent investigation by an attorney other than by the attorney for the conservator.
