63A.1 GENERAL AUTHORITY. The following officers are empowered to administer oaths and to take affirmations: 1. Justices of the supreme court and judges of the court of appeals and district courts, including district associate judges and judicial magistrates. 2. Official court reporters of district courts in taking depositions under appointment or by agreement of counsel. 3. The clerk and deputy clerks of the supreme court and the clerks of the district court and their designees. 4. Notaries public. 5.
