69.18 SALARY OF ACTING APPOINTEES. If a vacancy occurs in a position which is appointed by the governor subject to confirmation by the senate and the governor designates a person to serve in that position in an acting capacity, that person shall not receive compensation in excess of that authorized by law for a person holding that position.          Section History: Early Form [C81, § 69.18] Confirmation, see § 2.32
