80A.12 REFUSAL, SUSPENSION, OR REVOCATION.
The commissioner may refuse to issue, or may suspend or revoke a
license issued, for any of the following reasons:
1. Fraud in applying for or obtaining a license.
2. Violation of any of the provisions of this chapter.
3. If a licensee or employee of a licensee has been adjudged
guilty of a crime involving moral turpitude, a felony, or an
aggravated misdemeanor.
4. If a licensee willfully divulges to an unauthorized person
information obtained by the licensee in the course of the licensed
business.
5. Upon the disqualification or insolvency of the surety on the
licensee's bond, unless the licensee files a new bond with sufficient
surety within fifteen days of the receipt of notice from the
commissioner.
6. If the applicant for a license or licensee or employee of a
licensee fails to meet or retain any of the other qualifications
provided in section 80A.4.
7. If the applicant for a license or licensee knowingly makes a
false statement or knowingly conceals a material fact or otherwise
commits perjury in an original application or a renewal application.
8. Willful failure or refusal to render to a client services
contracted for and for which compensation has been paid or tendered
in accordance with the contract. Section History: Recent Form
