86.7 INTEREST IN AFFECTED BUSINESS. It shall be unlawful for the commissioner to be financially interested in any business enterprise coming under or affected by this chapter during the commissioner's term of office, and if the commissioner violates this statute, it shall be sufficient grounds for removal from office, and in such case the governor shall at once declare the office vacant and appoint another to fill the vacancy.          Section History: Early Form [S13, § 2477-m39; C24, 27, 31, 35, 39, § 1430; C46, 50, 54, 58, 62, 66, 71, 73, 75, 77, 79, 81, § 86.7]
