89A.2 SCOPE OF CHAPTER. 1. The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to any of the following: a. Any conveyance installed in any single private dwelling residence. b. Material hoists subject to regulation under 875 IAC 26.1 and 29 C.F.R. § 1926.552. c. Lifts subject to regulation under chapter 88. d. Material lift elevators existing in the same location since prior to January 1, 1975. e. Conveyances over which an agency of the federal government is asserting similar enforcement jurisdiction. 2.
