99G.33 LAW ENFORCEMENT INVESTIGATIONS. The department of public safety, division of criminal investigation, shall be the primary state agency responsible for investigating criminal violations under this chapter. The chief executive officer shall contract with the department of public safety for investigative services, including the employment of special agents and support personnel, and procurement of necessary equipment to carry out the responsibilities of the division of criminal investigation under the terms of the contract and this chapter.          Section History: Recent Form 2003 Acts, ch 178, §86, 121; 2003 Acts, ch 179, §142; 2004 Acts, ch 1086, §27
