100D.11 APPLICABILITY. 1. The provisions of this chapter shall not be construed to apply to a person licensed as an engineer pursuant to chapter 542B who provides consultation or develops plans or other work concerning the installation or design of fire protection systems. 2. The provisions of this chapter shall not be construed to apply to a person employed full time as a custodian for a school corporation, hospital, or public facility, who performs fire sprinkler maintenance work involving no more than one sprinkler head or nozzle. 3. The provisions of this chapter shall not be construed to apply to a person licensed as a plumber pursuant to chapter 105 who is working within the scope of the person's license.          Section History: Recent Form 2008 Acts, ch 1094, §12, 18; 2009 Acts, ch 91, §14
