124.207 SUBSTANCES LISTED IN SCHEDULE III -- CRITERIA. 1. The board shall recommend to the general assembly that the general assembly place a substance in schedule III if the substance is not already included therein and the board finds that: a. The substance has a potential for abuse which is less than that of the substances listed in schedules I and II; b. The substance has currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States; and c. Abuse of the substance may lead to moderate or low physical dependence or high psychological dependence. 2.
