144.44 - PERMITS FOR RESEARCH. - Iowa Statutes

144.44 PERMITS FOR RESEARCH. The department may permit access to vital statistics by professional genealogists and historians, and may authorize the disclosure of data contained in vital statistics records when deemed essential for bona fide research purposes which are not for private gain.
