144.53 - MISDEMEANORS. - Iowa Statutes

144.53 MISDEMEANORS. Any person committing any of the following acts is guilty of a simple misdemeanor: 1. Knowingly transports or accepts for transportation, interment, or other disposition a dead body without an accompanying permit as provided in this chapter. 2. Refuses to provide information required by this chapter. 3.
