154A.17 FEES. The fees for the examination shall be set by the board on the basis of the annual cost of administration. The fees for the temporary permit, license, renewal of a license, and issuance of a duplicate license, shall be set by the board on the basis of the cost of sustaining the board and the administrative costs of the department. The fees for licensure and permit shall be based upon, but not limited to: 1. Actual expenses and compensation of members of the board. 2. Supplies and other expenses. 3.
